e-Visitor Visa - Subclass 651

The Subclass 651 visa is available to passport holders from several European countries. It allows multiple visits to Australia for tourism or business purposes of up to 3 months at a time within a 12-month period.

To quality for a Subclass 651 Visa, applicants must hold a valid passport from an eligible country, be a genuine visitor, meet character and health requirements, have adequate health insurance/ Medicare, have no debts to the Australian Government and must be outside Australia at the time of application and decision.

EVV Eligible Passport

You must hold a passport from one of these countries to be eligible for the eVisitor:

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic,Denmark Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Republic of San Marino, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom – British Citizen, Vatican City

You cannot apply with:

A non-citizen passport, certificate of identity or other travel document
A British National Overseas, British Dependent Territories Citizen, British Overseas Citizen, British Protected Person or British Subject passport

ETA Eligible Country

You can apply for an ETA if you hold a passport from:

Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong (SAR of China), Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Monaco, Norway, Portugal, Republic of San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan (excluding official or diplomatic passports), The Netherlands, United Kingdom—British Citizen, United Kingdom—British National (Overseas), United States of America, Vatican City

WH Eligible Country

You must be a citizen of and hold a valid passport from one of these countries:

Belgium, Canada, Republic of Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China (including British National Overseas passport holders), Republic of Ireland, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan (other than an official or diplomatic passport), The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

WAH Eligible Country

You must be a citizen of and hold a valid passport from one of these countries:

Electronic Travel Authority - Subclass 601

The Subclass 601 visa is available to passport holders from Australian Government specified countries or regions. It allows multiple visits to Australia for tourism or business purposes of up to 3 months at a time within a 12-month period.

To quality for a Subclass 601 visa, applicants must hold a valid passport from an eligible country, be a genuine visitor, meet character and health requirements, have adequate health insurance/ Medicare, have no debts to the Australian Government and must be outside Australia at the time of application and decision.

Visitor Visa - Subclass 600

The Subclass 600 Visa is available for passport holders who are not eligible for a subclass 651 or 601 visa. this visa allows you to visit Australia, either for tourism or business purposes for up to 3, 6 or 12 months. The Department of Home Affairs may, however, allow a shorter stay period, and also impose a restrictive condition, which prevents the holder from applying for a further visa in Australia.

There are 5 streams available to applicants; tourists (in Australia & outside Australia), business visitor, frequent traveler,, sponsored family and approved destination status.

the general requirements in qualifying for a subclass 600 visa include; you must hold a valid passport and may be in or outside Australia, be a genuine visitor, meet character and health requirements, have adequate health insurance, have no debts to the Australian Government and have enough funds to support you during your period of stay.

Working Holiday – Subclass 417

The Subclass 417 visa is available to passport holders from an eligible country and must be 18 to 30 years (inclusive) of age (except for Canadian and Irish Citizens up to 35 years (inclusive)). This visa allows you to do short term work in Australia, study for up to 4 months, travel to and from Australia as many times as you want and do specified work to become eligible for a second or third working holiday visa.

Length of stay: Up to 12 months

The Sublcass 462 visa is available to passport holders from an eligible country and must be 18 to 30 years (inclusive) of age. This visa allows you to do short term work in Australia, study for up to 4 months, travel to and from Australia as many times as you want and do specified work to become eligible for a second or third working holiday visa.

Length of stay: Up to 12 months
